"The Man" Warren Buffett had words to share with Congress
Warren Buffett offered some suggestions to Congress, and you know it is worth all our time to take a minute to hear what he had to say, after all he is "the man" that knows how to work a dollar. He said Congress needs to stop coddling the rich and raise taxes on dividends and capital gains. He warned against government making people loose faith in it's ability to govern and said we should hope the troubles that now plague Europe do not spill over onto American. Let us all pray for that !!!
He says we need to build up our decayed roads and bridges, and repair airports too. For love of America, what can we do? The age old question.
With that, I think we can all agree that "the man", Mr. Buffett is absolutely correct -- we need to work at getting our country back on the road, to the train and cross the bridge to fly high in prosperity. We can work it out !!!
President Obama out and around the country today --
Today, President Obama caught a bus and headed out to Minnesota and Iowa where he shared some of his thoughts and did a little listening of his own. In a couple of statements made by the President in which I, the writer am paraphrasing, he said the Republicans support tax cuts on borrowed money to the wealthy and for corporations who don't need it -- no problem, yet Republicans find a whole lot of problem with delivering health benefits to uninsured Americans who can not afford it and need it. Republicans call it "ObamaCare". President Obama said it is okay with him to coin the passed legislation "ObamaCare" because yes, he does care about Americans receiving health benefits.
Mr. President, you are aiming big and standing tall for America.
Mr. President, you should demand that the American people get you more Democrats in both houses in the 2012 elections. Then you will be able get your agenda and jobs proposals enacted. You need Democrats who will work with you to deliver for the American people and move our country forward.

The President box them in -- American Jobs Act
Mr. President, we do hear the frustration in your voice; and our advice is that YOU tell the voting people to give you Democrats to work with, in the Senate and the Congress. If you are to put jobs on the table, you need our help getting Democrats elected who will work with you to make sure the American people have jobs and are treated fairly. Republicans have shown us they will not work in a bi-partisan fashion and we are suffering because of their unwillingness to work with you. Take a page from Lyndon Baine Johnson, when he ran in 1964 he told the people he needed them to vote in Democrats, and that is what he got and was able to get his agenda through. And that is just what you need to say Mr. President to the American people; get you some Democrats to work with you. Then finally, you will be able get your proposal for jobs renovating and upgrading our infrastructure of roads, bridges and rail systems, and ensure senior's medicare and Social Security are protected. Get heavy hitters like former labor secretary Robert Reich, or former governor Bill Richardson and former governor Spitzer, and put them in your Administration. All of them would complement your Administration. You need people that will be surrogates.
Amended-- President Obama presented his legislation for jobs, the American Jobs Act in September.
Mr. President give Republicans the slap down like you did Donald Trump, slap them down 24/7.

Calling for Impeachment – The Republican Strategy to Defeat The President 2012
It was announced today, the Republican strategy is to tie up the President by calling for his impeachment. Dallas Congressmen told Chris Matthew on MSMBC news talk show today that the Republican game plan to thwart President Obama’s 2012 election is to go to their old ploy of calling for an impeachment. We all remember that game well; they called to impeach President Bill Clinton when he first entered the Office of the President, not more than 2 weeks into the office. He had done nothing at all; he was in office only 2 weeks. It would have been laughable, but it went on and on for the entire length of his Presidency and they spent millions of our tax dollars digging dirt until that found he had a fling, 40million dollars later.
Republican’s do not believe Democrats have a right to be President and do all they can to eliminate any candidate by any means. That’s because they don’t really believe in the values we hold true as Americans. Not one time did Democrats call for George W Bush to be impeached, even with all the miss-up, lives loss, money stolen and he brought us to the brink of economic collapse, not one elected Democrat threaten to have him impeached.
Here again, the Republican Party in tow with the insurgent Tea Party has brought our economy to the brink of collapse again because the Republicans refuse to work in a bi-partisan manner to get this great country back on track. They demand tax breaks given to rich individuals and companies, but this should only happen when they required use those tax dollars to develop jobs. We can not continue to allow elected Republicans to swindle tax dollars and direct to them to the rich so they can get paid under the table or get kickbacks.
President says United States “always will be a triple-A country” regardless of credit agency’s grade.
I am glad the President made the pronouncement that the United States “always will be a triple-A country” regardless of S&P's credit rating. I predict this very thing is going to re-define our President. I believe he has had enough of the petty-pat with the Republicans. He has tried and tried to create bi-partisanship with Republicans and that is never going to happen on his watch. I believe President Obama has finally gotten the picture, Republicans don't care that there are no jobs, it forces people to take lower wages. Republicans don't care if people don't have any benefits to fall back on, that is why they are willing to privatize social security and eliminate medicare. Republicans don't care about older Americans who have worked all their lives, now receive medicare and depend on those benefits, desperately need those benefits, be stripped away to keep tax breaks for mega companies (like the biggest oil companies in America that are already soaking the American public for unbelievable profit and gains) get protected tax breaks. I believe the President has finally seen that there is no bi-partisanship with Republicans and he is going to take back the keys a final time, and not let them drive again.
